Mission Statement
The Iowa district exists to glorify God and advance His Kingdom by serving, strengthening, and multiplying Foursquare churches throughout the State of Iowa.
Vision Statement
To accomplish our mission we purpose to:
- Pray for the Lord of the Harvest to bring laborers into the fields throughout our district and beyond.
- Provide a system to help vitalize churches and support and affirm local pastors.
- Use every means at our disposal to aggressively plant healthy churches throughout our district and beyond.
- Develop a system for identifying, recruiting, training, and empowering those God calls to servant leadership in His church.
- Provide practical, insightful and inspiring in-service training opportunities for our pastors and church leaders.
- Provide quality training for our leaders of children, youth and adult ministries.
- Provide life-changing retreat and camping events for children, youth and adults.
STATEMENT OF VALUES
“Our values” are those issues for which we believe we exist. They are principles to which we are committed. We will live and die for them. As members of the Foursquare Family of the Iowa District, we value:
- The Kingdom of God as revealed by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity; Lord over all creation, and our personal Savior from sin.
- The preciousness of every person, believing they are created in the image of God, eternally loved by God, and offered eternal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
- The world wide evangelization of all people in obedience to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
- The planting of evangelistic Foursquare churches in every segment of our society and throughout the world.
- The recruiting, training/equipping, and empowering of God’s people for the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ.
